We met as two creatives chasing our own paths, a filmmaker and a photographer who happened to see the world in similar ways. What started with a shared love of storytelling grew into a partnership in life and work. Travel, art, and building projects together became the rhythm of our days. Zen & Bae grew out of that rhythm, not as a brand but as a story of what it means to create and grow together.
Nina is the heart behind Missfit Studios, where she photographs adults of all backgrounds and identities in ways that celebrate confidence and authenticity. With a background in photography, makeup, and education, she has worked with hundreds of clients who come to her not just for images but for the experience of seeing themselves in a new light.
Klaye is the founder of Keflon61 Creative Agency, a hub for content creation and digital strategy. A filmmaker, photographer, and storyteller, he has spent years helping people and brands share their stories with honesty and impact. His work balances the practical side of creative business with the art of capturing real human moments.
Zen & Bae is bigger than the two of us. It is the idea that in any relationship, each of us has the chance to be both the calm and the love for one another. When someone asks who is Zen and who is Bae, the answer is simple: I am. Anyone who resonates with that philosophy is part of the story. Zen & Bae is a collective, a community of people who believe in love, travel, creativity, and the everyday work of building a life together.
